Marc presents his new book, Vulnerable Minds, to educators, doctors, nurses, social workers, and researchers.
Marc presented a full day workshop to the directors and staff of Children’s homes in Kenya, serving the large orphan population. Discussion focused on the impact of neglect on child development and strategies to help build resilience and aid recovery. Discussion also focused on Marc’s new non-profit, International Children’s Aid Network (www.i-can.org) and one of its central projects: creating libraries in orphanies.
Marc presents a Keynote lecture to the Campus School of Boston College and the Kennedy Day School at Franciscan’s Children’s Hospital entitled, after the book, “Vulnerable Minds: The harm of childhood trauma and the hope of resilience.”
